The best seller report allows you to identify the most popular products in your online store. To run the best seller report:
  • Log in to the admin panel of your online store.
  • Click on the Reports (left-side menu) and click on Best Sellers.
  • Set the time frame desired and choose whether you would like to export or print the report, then click on "GO."

By default, personalizations will be included in the best-seller report. This means if you are selling an item like a t-shirt, that may have different sizes, each size would show up as its own line item, instead of all the sizes being lumped together as one product.

If you would like to exclude personalizations from the best seller report:

  • Log in to the admin panel of your online store.
  • Click the Inventory (left-hand menu) > Manage Products.
  • A list of products will appear. Click on the name of the product with personalizations that you would like edit to exclude from the report.
  • Click the Variants tab in the top menu.

  • Click the personalization question name in the left side menu.
  • Scroll down and switch the "Exclude from best seller report" setting to "ON."
  • When done, click Save.

Note: After you make this change, the Best Seller Report will be updated immediately. If you need to update them in bulk, you can do so using the personalization import/export tool.

Note: Please note that this feature works based on the personalization ID, not the question name. If you edit a personalization question, this setting will continue to work, however, if you ever decide to delete the question and re-add it later, the new personalization will be given a new ID and this setting will no longer work with old orders. For example, let's say a customer purchases a shirt with "Size: Large" as the personalization. The question "Size" has an ID of 23, and you've set it to be excluded from the Best Seller Report. When you check the report, you won't see the individual sizes of the shirt as separate line items. However, if you delete "Size" from this particular product and then create a new question called "Size," it will be given a new ID, which will not have any connection to the order that that customer previously placed.
