If you would like to make a customer tax exempt, follow these steps:
- Log in to your store's admin panel.
- Click the Customers --> Manage customers from the left navigation to load the customer list.
- Click on the name of the customer you would like to make tax exempt and then edit them by clicking on the Edit Customer button.
- Click on the Discounts tab on the edit customer page.
- Enable the box next to "Tax Exempt."
- Click Save.
